FRUTEEC EXPERIENCE 2022

During an unforgettable day in Chile's beautiful Colchagua Valley, we gathered with distinguished representatives of the agricultural industry to do what we are most passionate about: sharing experiences, learning together, and celebrating the extraordinary richness of our land. There is no better way to connect with nature than through an authentic hands-on experience. With their hands in the soil, our guests had the opportunity to search for and harvest some of Chile's finest truffles, discovering firsthand one of the country's most exclusive agricultural products. Guided by Rafael Henríquez, Vice President of the Chilean Truffle Growers Association, his brother, and a specially trained truffle dog, participants enjoyed a truly unique experience. Through scenic walks, engaging conversations, and a beautiful sunny day, they learned about the so-called "black diamond"—a gourmet fungus introduced to Chile in the early 2000s that has since become one of the world's most highly prized delicacies, thanks to the exceptional quality achieved in our country. The experience concluded with an exquisite lunch in the private wine cellar of Viu Manent Winery, providing the perfect setting to continue sharing ideas, strengthen relationships, and build new connections among the people driving the growth of Chile's agricultural industry.
